Valcare LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Valcare Tabata fitness application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information, and how you can exercise your rights — including the right to have your data deleted.

By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Data Retention

  • Workout and fitness data: 30 days after deletion
  • Account data (name, email): 90 days post-deletion (for account recovery), then permanently deleted
  • Usage and analytics data (deidentified): Up to 24 months, then deidentified or deleted
  • Crash and diagnostic logs: 90 days, then automatically purged
  • Legal or compliance records: As required by applicable law (typically up to 7 years)

Note: After the retention period ends, your data is either permanently deleted or deidentified so it can no longer be linked to you.

Your Right to Delete Your Data

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. To submit a deletion request:

  • By in-app request: Go to ProfileSend Feedback. In the subject field, type “Data Deletion Request” and include your registered email address and a brief note requesting deletion of your account and data. Our team will receive your message and manually process the request.
  • By email: Send a request to [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include your registered email address.

We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive an email confirmation once your data has been deleted.

Note: Some data may be retained beyond this period if required by law (e.g. tax records, fraud prevention), or if necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Your Other Rights

In addition to deletion, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Restriction: Ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests
